Prep area for the pad. Pad will 24 by 48 feet plus a 6 by 10 feet addition to the rear to house the air compressor, dust collector and vacuum pump. |
| Pad poured in early October. | |
| Pad poured and ready for framing crew. The pecan tree in the background has a large burl about 20 foot high. | |
| Rains has halted the framing after only three walls were erected. Ten foot precut studs are being used. | |
|
|
Vinyl siding is being installed over the OSB siding. |
| This picture show the 6 by 10 foot lean-to to house the DC, compressor and vacuum. | |

R-13 insulation is being blown in the wall cavities. |
| A shot of the the south interior after the walls, ceiling and floor has been painted. The ceiling is actual the same color as the lower part of the wall. By the way I hate extension cords. | |

Another shot of the DC room. The floor, walls and ceiling has been painted. |

Moving day was November 11, 2008. It will take some time to straighten this out. There are 10 lights fixtures containing 4 T-8 bulbs each. The fixtures were installed at an angle to help streamline the DC duckwork. |
|
| The DC, air compressor and vacuum pump has been installed. The framing for the wall to separate these machines was been erected and will contain sound insulation when completed. | |
| The lathe area. You can see some of the framing for the stub wall in the upper part of the picture. There will be a curtain hung on this wall. It will also house a dust cleaner. Yes that is a HF lathe in the foreground. It will be used at some point as a frame work for a threading machine. The lathe to the right is a Jet mini. The primary lathe is a Vega 2400 bowl lathe. There is a 10 by 10 foot room in the background to be used as gallery. | |
| Electrical power has been ported to the Vega. The switch on the right turns on a par of flood lights in the ceiling at each end of the lathe. The switch to the left controls the vacuum pump. | |
